Effective 2 August 2026 · applies to the Duel Stone Android app and to duel-stone.com
Duel Stone does not collect your data. There is no account to make, no analytics in the app, no advertising, and no server of ours for anything to be sent to. This page explains what that means in practice, and what the app does touch on your phone.
What we collect
Nothing. The app gathers no personal information, no device identifiers, no advertising ID, no location, no contacts, no usage or analytics events, and no crash reports. We do not build a profile of you, because we never receive anything to build one from.
Because nothing is collected, nothing is shared, sold, or transferred to anyone — there are no third-party SDKs in the app to share it with even if we wanted to.
What is stored on your device
The game keeps one save file in its own private app storage on your phone. It holds the things you would expect a game to remember:
- your progress — account and class levels, unlocked classes and abilities, campaign progress and achievements;
- your gold, embers and the gear you own or have equipped;
- your settings, including the graphics quality tier;
- a display name, if you type one for a local multiplayer match.
This file never leaves your device. We cannot read it. Deleting the app deletes it, and there is no backup of it anywhere — which also means uninstalling loses your progress.
Multiplayer over your local network
Duel Stone's multiplayer is played on one Wi-Fi network between phones in the same room. There is no matchmaking service and no server in the middle: one phone hosts, the other joins it directly over the local network, and the two exchange the moves of the match while it lasts.
While you are hosting, the app broadcasts a small announcement on your local network so nearby phones can list your game. That announcement carries the display name you chose, your chosen class, and the technical details needed to connect. It is visible only to devices on the same network, it stops when you stop hosting, and it never reaches the internet or us.
This is why the app asks for network permissions on Android. They are used for local discovery and local play, and for nothing else.
This website
duel-stone.com is a static site. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and loads no third-party resources — the fonts and images are served from this domain rather than a content network, specifically so that visiting this page does not hand your IP address to anyone else. Our host, Cloudflare, processes requests to serve the site and keeps standard server-side logs as part of that; we do not add any tracking of our own on top.
Children
We collect nothing from anyone, and that includes children. There is no account creation, no chat, no user-generated content, and no advertising in the app, so there is no channel through which a child's personal information could reach us.
Getting the app
Duel Stone is distributed through Google Play. Downloading and installing anything from Play is governed by Google's own privacy policy, which is separate from this one and outside our control.
Your rights
Rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data all depend on someone holding it. We hold none. If you want the data the game stores about you gone, uninstalling the app removes it completely from your device.
When this page changes
Duel Stone is still being built, and features that would change this policy are on the roadmap — advertising, purchases, or play over the internet. If any of them ship, this page will be updated to describe exactly what is collected and why, with a new effective date at the top, and the Play Store listing's data-safety information will be updated to match. We will not quietly start collecting something and correct the wording afterwards.
